This humble site exists to be a place where you can come and receive some positive and (hopefully) helpful inspiration. The content is life lessons ( Homily ) which are given with Prayer and Hope that you, the reader, will be inspired in some good and helpful way.
In these times we find ourselves in, there are far too many questions. A lot of things out of our control which are both troubling and some are alarmingly horrible. What we ALL can do, however; is be a light. Keep up hope and share the LOVE given from above - at every opportunity which reveals itself.
A very old fashioned and most productive habit, as we strive to live Righteously, is to simply and often ask yourself:
For the Lord Jesus coming to Earth was not for GOD... Not for Jesus... But rather for us. Jesus leads by example. He shows us 'The Way' in all that He did, said, and prayed. Everything on earth from Jesus came from LOVE - all He did, said, and shared. Once that's understood, when the light goes on, it is easy to see how simple it can truly be. Simply follow the Jesus Way. Strive to follow His lead. Do what you can. Leave everything else in GOD's hands.

Quite surprisingly, we find ourselves living in a global society, who collectively, and quite mistakenly, believe that; Truth is relative. This is known as 'relativism', and it is a dead-end, futile, and wrong way to be, live, and practice. In short: Relativeism promotes failure. So, let's turn toward right thinking - turn to absolute TRUTH.
TRUTH is absolute. Something is either TRUE, or, it is NOT TRUE. For everyone. Always. Any discussions which profess otherwise, are misleading and absolutely incorrect. In our distracted technology driven world, where our attention is pulled in dozens of directions, moment to moment, it is easy to default to 'tuning out'. Ignoring (essentially) everything that is not 'in this moment' what we care about.
TRUTH be told, what we all need to strive to do, is GET OFF THE PHONE! GET OFF THE WEB. No, not forever or anything. Rather, LIFE is not VIRTUAL! Focus on the REAL WORLD. GET OUT there - be face-to-face with other's. Do things. Real things. Not screen things. Pay attention here folks.
It only takes a single Large Solar Event, directed right at the Earth, and ALL of this technology is GONE. That is an absolute TRUTH that should make EVERYONE take pause. Invest in PEOPLE. Focus on REAL THINGS. Keep in mind this simple truth: Phones and the WEB are TOOLS. Use them. Appreciate them. Focus less on this tech stuff, more on the real world, on the PEOPLE.
Start with GOD, Prayer, carry-on from there. Of course, many of you have no clue how, nor what, any of that means. So many are fearful of GOD. So many don't (today) even believe that The LORD exists. Truth: He does. He IS. As stated above, GOD is Truth. It is actually peculiar, that; as Science evolves forward, more and more, the wiggle room for 'what started' the Universe - inevitably leads us to GOD.
Science speaks of the spark, the "Big Bang", and strives to reveal 'what' caused it. Failing to do that, they focus on the event, how it happened, how it evolved - the evidence of how the Universe unfolds throughout time. But the absolute truth... That Science cannot answer: What caused the BANG? The Bible tells us: GOD SPOKE THE UNIVERSE INTO EXISTENCE (Genesis 1:3). The result of His doing so?
Try this... Make it a point, to get out in the world, and LOOK. LOOK for what you can do - just one thing. Meet someone you don't know. Strike up an introduction, and see where it may lead. Along the way, do just one thing, to make the world a better place...
Pick up some trash. Smile at a stranger. Greet them with a friendly "Hi!". Get to know your neighbors. Be a LIGHT. To do any and all of this, all you need to do: Lean into GOD, listen with your heart, you'll be surprised at what comes to mind ...
In other words, what happens, Always, starts and ends with: Absolute TRUTH from GOD. This discussion started with TRUTHs which may be unknown to many of you. They are revelations which are so obvious that they are far too often either taken for granted, or worse, not known. THESE predicate TRUTHs are a true HINT at, WHO GOD IS, and merely a HINT at what He wants for you.

In a word, Almighty Lord GOD is: LOVE. That's the quick and short, does the listener really care, kind of answer. But, what does that really mean? It leads to the question: What is LOVE? It is astonishing that many of us do not know what Love is.
That is in no small part, because we confuse many other things with Love. Moreover, we throw the word out there a bit too often. "I love that!". "I love _." Also, far too common, we confuse desire and lust with Love. Yet, the Bible tells us, in no uncertain terms, precisely what LOVE is.
Let's here review that.
1 Corinthians 13 Versus 4-8, is the one true definition of LOVE. In the 1984 printing of the 1973 NIV Bible, it states:
For clarity in this discussion, it is not incorrect, to be specific, and replace the pronoun with the noun in each statement:
Truth, for me ( Obed ), when I read this and prayed over it, and truly let it in, it was a revelation with life altering impact. It was clear that I had no idea, up to that moment, what Love is.
So many mis-conceptions and mis-undersandings, and mis-guided beliefs.
I was raised Christian: Church going, Sunday school, Summer camps, the whole she-bang. Nevertheless, I went the first 30-years of my life, not ACTUALLY realizing the definition of LOVE.
Thus, here, it is brief and beautiful. Love is...all of that, all of above this. But, you say, wait! This is supposed to be 'Who is GOD?'
Those who know me ( Obed ), come to realize that I'm rather long winded ( *LOLOLOL* ), so; I often feel the need to explain things 'to death'. That said, this entire discussion is in TRUTH, about GOD, and; Who He is. Of course, we are NOT ignoring that GOD is the Creator of all things. Rather, this discussion is about God's nature. Because, all Blessings and Grace come from GOD. Moreover ...:
1 John 4:8, states:"
"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
Which is such a glorious and beautiful REVEAL ... Substitute GOD for LOVE in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 tells us: Who Lord GOD is - His nature:
This statement suite, is; the foundational TRUTH of: Who is GOD?
Certainly NOT the Fire and Brimstone that so many believe. Oh, don't mis-understand here. GOD's ANGER is ... TERRIBLE and TRAGIC for those He is Angry with. But ANGER is not who GOD is. He is what here we just read.

For those who know me, they all presume that I would be waiving my arms up-n-down telling everyone to jump onto the so-called "AI" band-wagon. Nope. Not I. There are so very many reasons why NOT. Before touching on some of them, I will say... Those who work in that part of the Systems Engineering world, have every right to be proud of the evolution they are a part of.
Indeed, it is stunning and spectacular how very far AI constructs have evolved. The 'AI people' which are being thrown around these days, appear almost human, almost real. Further, AI solutions on the back-ends of web shopping and other avenues of human interaction, though rather primative, actually work. All around: BRAVO - BRAVO indeed - to all of the hard working men-and-women who made the so-called AI revolution a reality.
So... Why therefore, would I ( a life-long tech ) not be singing praise and supporting feverishly, this AI revolution that is taking the world by storm so completely? A few of the reasons - not ALL by far - but some of the most important reasons why NOT:
The implications of AI are broad and deep. They reach far and even those of us who ponder the potential, cannot yet foresee what the true long-term impacts may be. Nevertheless, Locale, State, National, and International laws, updating and changing, takes YEARS. Often DECADES. That alone is a serious concern.
For the AI evolution is going to continue to evolve - and quite the opposite - will do so QUICKLY. Nobody is talking about the implications of this tool we call AI. Consider, the first time that a TRAGEDY occurs, because someone DIES because of an AI. Or somehow, someway, an AI construct inadvertantly causes someone's life to be destroyed, just because of what it's coded to do, or how it is perceived.
In such instances - WHO DO YOU BLAME? Who is RESPONSIBLE? Our LAWS are NOT equipped to tackle these possible issues and their solutions. That is a great concern.
These genius AI authors - seem to revel in 'Ha!' we fooled ya! It's an AI. That approach is a massive mistake. Because it breeds distrust. It causes fear and discontent. It will, in the long haul, backfire - and - backfire terribly for them.
A more RIGHT approach, is to be ABSOLUTELY UP FRONT, be proud of the fact that "This is an AI". A TOOL. That we proudly share with the world, and hope that it will be beneficial, helpful, and positive to our audience.
THAT is how they should approach it. Make it absolutely clear - right up front - THIS IS AN AI. Don't hide it, flaunt it. Throw it out ( be TRUTHFUL ), and show the world that it is NOT TO BE FEARED. Not to be DIS-TRUSTED. That is is simply - A TOOL. A great tool that we can all embrace, because; it is nothing more than a BETTER PROGRAM INTERFACE.
There are a lot of folks, who will not have the ability, experience, knowledge, and other factors - due to age, life choice, background, and so-forth, who will never be comfortable with AI. Trickery, only fosters them to forever see it with hatred and contempt. When, for instance, your team creates an Actor, Musician, Expert, or whatever - and try and TRICK and FOOL people with your presentation - when the TRUTH is revealed - that will backfire. Again, this is the worst approach possible.
There are some fantastic music and songs being created and presented in AI. I myself LIKE many of them. That the "tool" presenting is AI doesn't change that I LIKE THE MUSIC, and the SONGS. But, I for one, will ALWAYS be far more impressed with the ACCOMPLISHMENT of REAL HUMANS, who are amazing musicians and singers - than any AI construct that are effective enough to be liked.
Here for instance - are a FEW actual real accomplished, brilliant, bold, exceptional, genius, wonderous humans - who give their lives - to entertain:
Are we supposed to admire and praise the cameras, costumes, and cinemas, for their brilliant works? Of course NOT!
Appreciate the marvelous tools - absolutely! But, the PEOPLE are what matter, not the TOOLs.
These so-called AI 'people' are TOOLS. Nothing more. To admire and praise the TOOL is insanity. Give credit and praise to the men and women behind these AI things. Not the resulting tools themselves. Common folks - use your heads.

Courtesy is behavior marked by polished manners and proper respect for EVERYONE.
No matter their age; No matter their position; No matter their station; This habit and practice begins and ends with: "Yes, Please, AND; Thank you! ( Sir -AND- Ma'am )". There is a Japanese phrase which reflects such expected behavior: Aisatsu.
This is refleted in ALL Japanese culture - reflected with what one says and does - for instance Bowing and Courteous Polite greetings and salutations. Altough asian societies apply these habits to the level of art, they definately are not the authors of these behaviors and practices. Lord GOD clearly expects us to demonstrate and lead the way.
Take it to heart, and; through your behavior, bring those around you into good old fashioned propriety. In so doing, you'll bring GLORY TO THE ALMIGHTY. Be courteous, with good manners, and give respect in all things. Such a small ask, to show our gratitude, for the many blessings and gifts we, the faithful, receive daily!
Ultimately, it's really quite easy, too... Simply ask yourself: What would Jesus Do?

I am quite certain that many of our Jewish brothers and sisters will strongly object with me over this. It's fine. They do not have to ever agree.
One of our fundamental commands from the Lord: Remember the Sabbath day and keep it Holy. The 4th-Commandment. Honestly, I believe that our Jewish brothers and sisters got this wrong. They teach that this is a day of REST and WORSHIP. I completely agree it is for WORSHIP. But for REST, per se, the Jewish faith takes this 'rest' thing to a level that astonishes me. They do NOTHING on Saturday. Except go to Synagogue and SIT AROUND at home. The most devout do not even "cook", or "clean", or do much of anything.
Let's think about this for a moment. The LORD GOD RESTED on SATURDAY. So, it is easy to see why they would assume that remembering and keeping it Holy means - REST LIKE GOD DID - and - WORSHIP. But, let us consider for a moment, a slightly different way of thinking. GOD created all things, and; that He RESTED after performing Countless MIRACLES of CREATION, would desire, perhaps also need - REST.
But, we humans? What does it mean to KEEP IT HOLY? To be HOLY is to be RIGHTEOUS. Which means ( in simple English ) to THINK, SAY, and DO What is RIGHT. That is what it means to be RIGHTEOUS. Therefore, that is what it means for a HUMAN to be HOLY. It seems to this humble servant, that sitting around doing NOTHING is NOT being either RIGHTEOUS nor HOLY. It's being LAZY. And the LORD GOD is anything but LAZY.
So, consider a different interpretation. Many of us TEACH our CHILDREN - LEAD BY EXAMPLE. Well, if we take that LITERALLY, then the Lord, in Leading by Example, CREATED, and DID GOOD, REPEATEDLY. In my humble opinion, to BEST HONOR THE LORD, do REMEMBER the SABBATH and KEEP it HOLY, we should FOLLOW the Lord's Lead. Moreover, as CHRISTIANS, we should follow the LEAD of LORD JESUS. Jesus made it clear, that He did not agree that doing NOTHING on the Sabbath was a particuliarly Righteous thing. He stressed that DOING GOOD was far more RIGHT and HOLY, and; we should therefore, follow that example.
This means - Get OUT on SATURDAY - and DO FOR OTHERS. Volunteer. Look for someone who may need a helping hand, then GO BE THAT HELPING HAND. See something that needs repair, or cleanup, or improvement - and BE THE CAUSE that it HAPPENS. Mend a Fence; Mow a neighbor's lawn; Go grocery shopping for someone home bound -- AND -- pay for them too out of your means -- as A GIFT; I am 'spit-balling' it here. But I hope that my point is clear:
Remembering the SABBATH and KEEPING IT HOLY, should be an ACTIVE (not PASSIVE) time, where we Get out into the world and BE A LIGHT, BE AN EXAMPLE of what it means to be GRATEFUL and GIVING and GENEROUS because -- it is the RIGHT ( Righteous ) thing to do. Expect nothing in return, and do not allow anyone to make a big deal of it. Simply say, "this is a GIFT from GOD, and I am BLESSED to be His instrument in this case!"
Remember the SABBATH by being a LIGHT, being a GRATEFUL and GIVING person, in Honor of GOD's great works, in Humility and Gratitude of His GRACE.
I emphasize again -- this is my opinion -- I may be completely incorrect in this thinking and this belief. Yet, as long as what you do comes from a place of LOVE and GIVING and HUMILITY and HOPE -- I am quite certain the Lord GOD will NOT be unhappy about it, and; if He is, He will let YOU and ME BOTH KNOW!
There are some who may see this and wonder why here we do not say: Patriotic Righteous Christian Americans. It is because, the most important thing here to be is CHRISTIAN - not AMERICAN. Oh, don't misunderstand, I am GRATEFUL and PROUD that I am an AMERICAN. Born and Raised. But, far more significant and important, I was also BORN and RAISED CHRISTIAN. Of this also, I am truly grateful. And also, quite humbly, well aware that many in the world may consider that stating such things as I so often do - makes me anything but Humble. I chalk it up to those who confuse leading with bragging.
Or perhaps those who mistake steadfast as "pushing others into"; Stuff like that. It is ALWAYS a matter of perspective and practice. Does the action, deed, and words given come from a place of CHARITY and LOVE and SHARING? Or does it come from a place of NARCISISM and HATE and TAKING? Here in this example I am throwing out the two extreme ends of a spectrum. I strive for the former. I am painfully aware of my failures along the way. Thankfully the Lord gently pushes me along in spite of my many shortcomings and inadequacies. Were it NOT for the teaching and mentoring of the Holy Spirit - I would not make it through a single day.
Attitude and Actions go a long way toward proof of belief and demonstration of intention. The KEY, is to see also how LONG this is. Does the person demonstrate his/her Attitude and Action over time? Or is it (as my parents taught) a flash in the pan thing that is only for show? Therefore, to really know, is to be patient and watchful to see - if a person is consistent over the long haul, and also; in the day-to-day.
It is NOT easy being Patriotic. It is not EASY being Righteous. It is not at all 'Easy' being A Patriotic Righteous American Christian. In times of late, it has in fact, become rather challenging. In some places it can be outright dangerous to declare your FAITH to those around you. Hostility toward those of us who BELIEVE has become rather common. These kind of trends are bothersome and troubling. I can only PRAY that the trends are temporary.
So, rather than "Thump a BIBLE", or "PUFF UP" and be "SHOW-OFF" in any way, the best way to teach others is to LEAD THE WAY. I harp on this often, because; ACTIONS speak far louder than words - and DEEDS demonstrate far more than preach. My parents harped on this often: TEACH BY LEADING. DOING. SETTING EXAMPLE BY WHO YOU ARE - Everyday. Strive for this and keep in mind, you may never SEE the results of your efforts in your lifetime.
There's an excellent Ridley Scott movie from 2005, "Kingdom of Heaven", which demonstrates one man's struggle to find His path. And in that movie, a quiet and humble Jesuit Priest stated to the Protagonist:
Such perfectly stated truths are among the things I look for in "life". Simple and obvious - they are good sign posts for us to keep in mind!

When I was very young, it was TELEVISION time. Then later, it was HOME COMPUTER time. With my children, it evolved into PHONE time. Regardless, for us all, it is crucial for your Emotional, Mental, Spiritual, and also Physical health - to LIMIT your time with anything 'Electronic'. There are dozens of reasons you should do this - but here - I shall only touch upon an important few . . .
Exercise. What's that you ask? *LOLOLOL* Yeah, I bet many of you don't actually know that it is crucial for your health. When we were in school, we had an INTENTIONAL and ORGANIZED 'PE' class - every single day. 1-hour of EXERCISE driven by a teacher, at school. I honestly do not know if that is still common in today's public schools. I hope so - but - I do NOT know. As for the rest of us... Personally, I walk for at least 1-hour every single day. 3-days a week, I strength train as well - only 20-minutes of that. Basic stuff - Push-ups, Sit-ups, Leg-lifts, and hoisting a few pounds around with dumb-bells.
I am NOT alone in this - I am happy to say, that; some of my family and life-long friends ALL regularly exercise. Believe me, this commitment to getting out and doing physical is not EASY by any sense. It is all too EASY to say to yourself, "I'm too darn tired today." I do NOT do that. It is better to push yourself to DO IT, then GO TAKE A NAP or GO TO BE EARLY, than it EVER IS, to NOT do it. Trust me in this. It is far harder to RESUME EXERCISE when you've put it off and put it off, than it is to "JUST DO IT!"
What's nice is... WALKING as an exercise is something you can do - ALL OF YOUR LIFE. If you are willing and capable of MORE - do more. But, for anyone of any age, if all you can MUSTER is a WALK everyday - that is ENOUGH! If you can get someone to join you in this - all the better! It's a wonderful way to have a conversation or ten, and; even if you do it alone - these days - MUSIC and AUDIO BOOKS are awesome!
Your GOAL is to get your heart rate UP for at-least 20-constant minutes - 30-minutes is my recommended MINIMUM. And do not be discouraged if, at first, all you can manage is a few YARDS even in WALK! Decades ago, I was a CIGARETTE SMOKER. When I started 'walking', I was horribly over weight, and; had been lazy for over a decade. Could not walk further than a CITY BLOCK - before I collapsed. For the past 20 + years, I walk at least 5-miles every single day.
Be patient with yourself. With anything you start - it will take time to 'build up to' whatever level you're targeting. What's amazing? GOD made our bodies to be STRONG and CAPABLE. If you work it - it gets stronger - no matter what age - no matter what shape you start out with. Just keep going. Don't get discouraged - and do not give up!
As I always say, as did my parents before me - Start with Prayer, Carry-On from there.
Then like the NIKE commercials from the 1990s: JUST DO IT! *LOLOLOLOL*
As for the Electronics... Attention spans are growing shorter and shorter for MANY people WORLD WIDE. I am here to tell you, it is your SCREEN TIME that is causing this issue - for EVERYONE. Because, the electronic "pop-ups" and "slide-downs" and "audio-playing commercials" that insist on interrupting you in the background - all contribute to shortening your attention span. Moreover, a full HOUR of SILENCE, every single day, is so very good for you, in so very many ways. I won't get into why. But truly, QUIET TIME is crucial for a HEALTHY LIFE.
At the very least - give any and all of this recommendation a solid try. A MONTH. See for yourself if it has a positive impact on your health! I am confident you will discover that - it shall!
Even before I was a teen, one day, my dad said to me, "My son, Avoid Ignorance, Apathy and Surrender."
I asked, "What's that Dad?"
He answered, "I don't know, I don't care, and; I give up."
He paused, and just looked at me, with a grin. Of course, being that it was ME, I didn't catch on immediately. It went completely over my head, that his answer was meant to be a memory tickler to help me to remember... With a few minutes of his patient teaching, the "light bulb" went on, and I laughed out loud! And, I've never forgotten.
Far too often in life, age with no standing, people can be heard often saying, "I don't know." and "I don't care." and "I give up!". Whenever I've had to answer, "I don't know... I've followed it up with, "I will find out.". I have never answered, "I don't care." to anyone, for anything. Alas, I must confess, I've had times when I have thrown my hands up and said "I give up!". and YET, a few minutes later, after another prayer, and a deep breath, my "I give up" always became - "No, let's try this!"
I've been truly blessed to have what I call "Nudges" from the Almighty, through the quiet whisperings of the Holy Spirit. Not words per se, but rather; insight and realization comes -always- just when needed. Were it not for those nudges, I never would have had a life long success in so very many things. For without GOD, and His Guidance, and His Help, I am truly a worthless human being.
Indeed, it is likely true that few are in such a place. Who BELIEVE deeply and completely as do I. That in itself is the basis for what I have seen in my life. I need the Lord's help in EVERYTHING. It is also true, that; how He talks to me, is not how He will talk with YOU. God does such things, specifically, in the ways that best suit YOU. Whom ever YOU are.
It always starts with Prayer. ASKING. Then patiently waiting for His timing. But also, we must always keep in mind, that NO, is not uncommon from GOD. So, be aware, and be GRATEFUL, when His answer is NO. For GOD always knows - so very much, what 'you, I, and we' don't.

It often astonishes me, how people in places and positions of leadership, can ( by their own hand ) so miserably fail. Not at all to be self-righteous in that assessment -I too- am among those who've suffered such self-imposed failures. In this particular instance, such failure exists because, those who profess that 'Creation' vs 'Evolution' is an argument which must have sides, have never actually READ the book.
Volume 11 of the Harvard classics, "On the Origin of Species - By Means of Natural Selection", by Charles Darsin, (first published in) 1859.
What many do not even consider, is that Mr. Darwin devoted YEARS of his life to this research and study. The travel times alone, even to get to the area from England took a minimum of 6-weeks to get to the gulf area, then had to cross land, then sail another week -- in summary -- 2-full months of travel time, assuming no delays and no weather related issues. Therefore, Darwin had to not only spend months to GET there, and it was just a short lived part of his travels studying the world...
The galapagos islands were merely a 'pit-stop' on his voyage via the HMS Beagle in 1835, where he spent 5-weeks conducting that study, which was a part of a 5-year voyage from the end of 1831 through end of 1836. Darwin was a lover of all things 'Nature', from insects and birds to everything else not Human - including plants and climates. This scholar never stated, nor implied, this "Creation vs. Evolution" argument of the 20th and 21st century.
This TRUTH is obvious, if you actually READ the entire book ( I have ). Finally, is quite clearly summarized in the final sentence of the book.
The last page of Chapter 6 "RECAPITULATION AND CONCLUSION", on page 506, reads, and I quote:
Therefore, Mr. Darwin clearly KNEW that GOD created all things, and that Evolution was merely a part of LIFE on this planet, as GOD designed.
There was NEVER a conflict - except by those who made assumptions - and - clearly never actually READ THE BOOK.

Therefore, I put it to ANYONE who claims there's a conflict, and argument, with Creation vs. Evolution: Stop perpetuating lies based on bad assumptions because you (yourself) never bothered to actually READ Mr. Darwin's book.
GOD indeed created ALL THINGS - and GOD created all EARTHLY LIFE to EVOLVE. That includes HUMANS. Obvious EVIDENCE of that? A few facts: Humans from the 1700s rarely made it to age 50; Humans 300-years before now were often average height of at most 5-foot 2-inches. Go LOOK for yourself at George Washington's BED at Mount Vernon Plantation - It will astonish you. My children at 12-would not FIT into those beds... And the doorways were so short, modern people have to DUCK to fit under many of the doors in 17th-century homes.
I am not saying that people were ALL that small in stature. But MANY were. Where as, men like Abraham Lincoln towered over most men and women of his day. He was an EXCEPTION in stature which is quite COMMON PLACE in this modern age. THAT, folks, is "evolution". We live longer. We are taller. We know MORE. We humans are evolving with each passing GENERATION, just as; Almighty Lord GOD designed us to do.
So, let's stop arguing about something that is a pointless and needless argument in the first place. For there are many more important things to consider and discuss and tackle in this life... Crime. Disease. Pollution. Poverty. Trafficing. War. to name just a few.

I am quite sure there are a surprising number of people who will strongly disagree here with me. It doesn't change the reality.
FACT. Except for occasional evolutionary aborations, which are known, and also not significant to this discussion... There are only 2-sexes, MALE and FEMALE. Your chromosomes are either XY ( Male ) or XX ( Female ). EVERYTHING ELSE - is PRETEND.
If you are a male who ( for whatever are your driving motivations ) wishing you were female; If you are a female who ( for whatever are your driving motivations ) wishing you were male; You can mutilate yourself to appear like the 'opposite' sex - but in the final analysis - you are what you were born to be: XY ( Male ) or XX ( Female ).
Moreover... Forcing your body to behave like the opposite gender, through EXPENSIVE AND LIFE LONG Hormone therapy (eg. so-called GAHT) after a "sex change" operation - will shorten your life by DECADES ( medical FACT ) and also; greatly increases your chances of Heart-Attack and/or Stroke, and greatly diminishes your natural immunity defenses.
Which leads us to the other astonishing pretend perspectives: non-Binary, social-Androgyny, and other deeply desperate and sad points of view; these are harmful ( emotionally and spiritually ) in ways that here I won't delve into. Be aware however, perpetuating such pretend in your own life is an awful way to live. Not being happy with who you are - what you are - and how you can be 'all you can be' with who GOD made you to be - is a truly sad thing.
Everyone goes through times when they are unhappy with who they are. It takes a lot to pull ourselves out of those slumps. Be assured that everyone CAN do that, and yes, at times it will be a serious challenge to pick yourself out of the rut you find yourself in. But the worst HELL ON EARTH that anyone can have to endure - is - to live in pretend and not be 'WHO AND WHAT YOU ACTUALLY ARE'.
The LORD teaches us to avoid compariing ouselves to others ( Galatians 6:4 -- 2 Corinthians 10:12 ). Doing so leads to unhappiness and sorrow. It matters NOT what our individual short-comings and flaws may be, for EVERYONE has them - this is guaranteed. The wise person knows their limitations and short-comings, but also; does not dwell on them -nor- allow them hinder any part of life.
I strongly encourage all who are following these make-believe points of view, to stop living in pretend, rather; Work hard with what you have, who you are, who you are not. Improve yourself through prayer, study, hard effort, and healthy living. Be the very best YOU that you can be. Anything else leads to darkness and travesty ( which are things nobody should ever suffer nor endure endlessly ).
The rest will fall into place! Don't let anyone tell you that you cannot do it... or that you will not make it... Nay sayers are common in all walks and stations of life. In the end, all that limits who you are, and what you can do, is YOU. Everything and everyone else is simply noise. Reality? Of course if you're 5-foot tall, you will not be an NBA all-star. That doesn't mean you cannot be a fabulous and superior basket ball player. Realistic expecations driven by humble prayer, true desire, and exceptional effort - are among the keys to success.
Been struggling with some other things which are, for me, of great concern of late. While praying about those other topics, the Lord nudged me to realize that I made a mistake. I am here trying to correct that. What was the mistake? If you want to know why - you have to spend a significant amount of time and actually 'get to know' me. I have absolutely NO expectations to that end. Moreover... This is NOT about me. Never was - shall never be. So onward!
I am quite certain, the founders of our nation never envisioned where we find the nation heading, with regard to, our ACTUAL FAITH. The establishment clause of the First Amendment to the Constution of the United States, was intended to ensure that the GOVERNMENT did not favor any specific religion or more specifically speaking, CHURCH ( Catholic, Episopal, Jewish, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, etc, etc... ), nor prohibit any religious practice that the government may or may not agree with ( for instance - Satanism ), because; With FREEDOM... Along with the "good", also; comes the BAD.
The bottom line here is - the Government NEVER intended to EXCLUDE GOD from our Nation. Simply and Rather, to not favor any specific religion, not to eliminate FAITH from our daily lives.! How do we KNOW this? We are REMINDED, every single day, quite intentionally, that we are a Judeo-Christian nation - ON OUR MONEY:
It is by extension, in Faith, that the founders of our nation believed that it would hold together. Thus far, indeed, it has... We have. We are the greatest nation that has ever existed. Not perhaps in SIZE per se, but; in Accomplishment, in Capability, in Influence, in Might, in many distinctive and fabulous blessings for all to see, we are the Nation that leads the way for everybody.
This reality will NOT remain, however; if we continue down the path that, as a nation, we walk today. For the one single reason, for the on-going and seemingly unparalleled distinction, that the United States of America is the greatest People, the greatest Nation, is: Because we have the BLESSING, and the FAVOR, of LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!
GOD is patient, and kind, the Jewish word HESED comes to mind. HESED means, "GOD's Committed, Deep, Steadfast Kindness." Because GOD is Loving, Patient and Steadfast, that He trusts us, trusts enough to Wait, giving us time to get it right. Personally, it was in my lifetime, that this nation was Faithful when I was young. Everyone went to Church and Synagogue. We were raised to serve others in our communities, to be good citizens, to reachout with helping hands.
Today... We see a dramatic decline in Practicing of all these things: Community, Giving, Kindness, Service. Evil and wrong people are changing everything - from elimiating Pennies of all things! To encouraging wrong behaviors and thinking in a great many things. Lord Jesus tells us, that it is better to DROWN (Matthew 18:6) than to mislead children... and yet, that is what we see everywhere today - even by teachers and people of Faith - they teach wrong things to our children everyday...
There are so very many who don't have the smallest clues regarding of here what I preach. For instance, they try to create conflict, even between Jewish and Christian teaching. There is in TRUTH, NO CONFLICT beween Jewish and Christian. Never was. Shall never be. Put simply, Jesus is JEWISH. What JESUS teaches - is not a replacement, nor contradiction, to anything in the Jewish faith. That's why the BIBLE contains, side-by-side, both the JEWISH WORD OF GOD, and; the CHRISTIAN WORD OF GOD.
So, I am here reminding everyone the following...
PUT GOD FIRST
in everything you do. Follow Jesus example, in your day-to-day. 'What would Jesus do' is what we used to say. It still applies, and is a very excellent guide. If you follow Jesus, you cannot go wrong. If you put GOD FIRST in everything in your life, you will see something wonderful happen in your life. It all starts with FAITH and ends with ACTION. FAITH in GOD, BELIEF in JESUS, are what guarantee you get into Heaven. Yes, without Jesus, you still MIGHT make it to Heaven. And, you might also NOT.Personally, knowing all that I am, and more importantly, all that I am NOT... I dare NOT believe, am not stupid enough to think, that I am worthy of entering Heaven. Therefore, I TRUST IN GOD. I believe in Salvation through Jesus. I live to my very best to be Righteous. In GOD's hands I leave all the rest.
As a NATION, we the people have the ability to stop the EVIL from taking this all away from us. We can, for instance, stand-up and GET THE PENNY put BACK into circulation. You do that by telling CONGRESS to GET OFF THEIR COLLECTIVE ARISES and DO THEIR FRAKKING JOBS! As for us CITIZENS, we MUST do the very same - GET OFF OUR COLLECTIVE BUTTS, stop letting small groups and evil people take control of everything. Stand-up, Speak OUT, and take back our GREAT NATION, bring back OUR GREAT COUNTRY!

People who profess and practice such things are being defiant of what is normal, and far more importantly, are defiant of what GOD allows. They've cherry-picked their desired morality, and are desperately trying to get the rest of the world to 'go along' with their improper and wrong path in life.
What (here) does 'cherry-picked' refer to? As obvious as it is to some of us, there are equally detestable practices, which the whole world agrees, are simply - WRONG. Several of these include, but are not limited to, things such as:
In the United States, and other nations, Laws originally were based on Biblical truth and proper human behavior. For a society, to suddenly abandon what is RIGHT for what is WRONG, would be a fundamental and monumental error of catastrophic proportions. Such a monumental error - making Homosexuality Legal, which in the United States, begain in the late 1960s, and; was finalized when the Defense Of Marriage Act of 1996 was overturned in 2015, and finally destroyed and replaced by Supreme Court ruling in 2022.
That said, for all of you who are woefully misled, who are living very much 'in pretend', and also 'in denial'... Rather than; You attempting to swing the world to your misguided practices and views, perhaps re-evaluate that which you follow, what you profess, and especially - all which you do. As for so-called same-sex-marriage, all who choose to defy GOD with this choice - you do so at your own peril.
From common-sense and scientific points of view, if the whole Human Race followed this ridiculous path ( Homosexuality ), our species would - quite factually - cease to exist.
In closing, rather than again (as do others) hash over Leviticus 22-23, let us remember that in Romans 1:24 - 30, yet again GOD warns, that sexual immorality is forbidden. AND... Let us not forget, that the worst disease of the modern age, born of these activities and practices, is - AIDS: Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. It destroys your bodies natural (GOD given) ability to SURVIVE. If that alone, is not a wake-up call, then sadly; perhaps nothing ever shall for you be.
A final note. GOD wiped 2-Cities from the face of Earth over their ongoing wicked behavior: Sodom and Gomorrah.

How did this come to be? Because 21st-century people don't CARE about things. Whether it's a blind statement like, "It's not ME." or "It's not my fault."; Littering on an unimaginable scale; or simply that - like Global Warming - mankind simply refuses to give a crap about crap...

GOD commands us to care for the Earth ( Numbers 35:33 ), moreover; the Earth is GOD's (Psalm 24:1) and His footstool (Isaiah 66:1). As His creation, in reverence and respect to GOD, we should, we must, take care of the Earth.
You may feel that you cannot do anything. Truth is, you can. Do what you can at home, near home, in your community. Directly, for now, we may not have the means, nor the ability, to stop the trash in the ocean from accumulating. But, indirectly, and locally, we can protest by our actions. Be the solution, not the problem. Ask yourself:
In our area in Southern Texas, just north of Corpus Christi, are several small towns ( Alice, Beeville, George West, Mathis, Orange Grove, Sandia, ... ), where there are a couple of long state routes, "Farm to Market" routes, like: 359, 534, 3162. A few dedicated volunteers, freely give 1-to-2-hours weekly, walking these (and other) highways, collecting and picking up trash.
Each volunteer, easily collects, a 30-gallon bag full of trach from along any partiular 1-to-3-mile stretch in these areas. And sadly, no matter how much is picked up, there is another full bag of new trach every single week - often (astonishingly) the very next day!

This discussion is about something people hear about, sometimes talk about, often gripe about. Without actually knowing what they are talking about. Quite surprisingly, I find many of us to be equally guilty of this... Not knowing what words mean - even when using them. For myself, I've made a serious effort to educate myself for and about any word that I read in the Bible - which I don't ACTUALLY KNOW the meaning of.
Even in this regard, we all must be cautious, most particularly, when "looking up" words on the WEB. You may find it quite surprising to see, that very often, of late ( for more than a decade ), I have seen people and places 'define' things, and; their definitions are NOT correct. Moreover, there are many out in the world who define things, quite intentionally, to suit their beliefs, their point of view, or their misunderstandings - NOT - the truth.
Therefore, quite strongly, I encourage you - Go find reliable places to teach you definitions. REAL BOOKS for example. REAL DICTIONARIES. REAL ENCYCLOPEDIAS. If you do not have such things in your home - GO TO A REAL LIVE LIBRARY - a BUILDING. If you can afford it, BUY real Encyclopedias and Dictionaries, and have them on hand in your house.
I have a 1-VOLUME encyclopedia, the "Columbia Encyclopedia". Of course you can see the official ONLINE version, The Columbia Encyclopedia online. , however; the HARD COPY, real version, can be purchased. And it looks something like this at Wikipedia... Wikipedia Article.
The 5th-Edition, which is the one I use, from the 1990s, can be purchased on Amazon or Ebay for as little as $20-dollars. It is worth every penny. It is pruduced by Columbia University, and; it gives you FACTS, and though the volume is LARGE and HEAVY, just open it on a TABLE, and go for it. Such is an example of a BOOK - a REAL BOOK - that cannot be 'falsely presented' by people online...
I also have an 1898 edition of the Webster Dictionary. You would be SHOCKED to see how even the most reliable modern dictionaries, have mutated and changed the definitions of words. Adding new words, addng new definitions - that makes sense. But actually lying about a definition online has become, quite shockingly, all too common.I'm going round-about here, discussing something that used to be a common known standard of behavior... When I was young, it was quite common to answer a simple question, "Why do we do that?" with the equally simple answer, "Because - It's the Right Thing To Do."
So, bringing it back around, I'm teaching here again, something that should be a driving motivation for ALL that you say, and ALL that you do... As stated above, simply: Because it's the right thing to do.. The BIBLE name for this attitude, the BIBLE name for this habit, the BIBLE name for this way of living - is:
Thus, once again, without over stating, nor over playing, this is, what it means, to be, to think, to do, to say, the RIGHT THING... It's called, Being
I'm quite certain, that; learning what that word means may be a surprise to many readers. It certainly was for me. Where once I was timid, even shy about saying that I strive to be Righteous, for more than 3-decades, I now say, loud and proud, "I try to make GOD proud of me, striving to be Righteous."
And again, to keep it simple for anyone asking, particularly, for the young, or someone who does not yet know what Righteous means... It is actually how we all should strive to be. When I was young, in my thirties, twenties, and teens, most people in this great nation, understood that this was how we should strive to be. When children (and, even adults) ask...
Why do we do that? Why do we NOT? The answer is - Because it's the right thing to do ( or NOT ).
Far too often, people are quite ridiculously, shoved into "boxes" to define them, like: What generation one was born into (Great, Silent, Boom, X, Y, Z, Alpha, ...), or their education, station, situation, and so on. This kind of thinking is not merely untrue, if you believe it, such thoughts will limit and harm you. Don't do it. For the absolute truth: No such shoehorn thinking is ever true.
Your habits are how you live. How you treat others, how you conduct yourself, your pursuits of excellence, caring about things outside yourself, all such as these are your Character. With effort, integrity, God's will, and time, your Character determines your Destiny.
No matter your generation, no matter your class, not your career, not any particular worldly thing, matters as much, certainly not more, than these things. For your destiny is quite indubitably in your own hands. My parents were of a very particular mindset: Never quit, Never surrender.
Don't let your anyone - nor anything - not your status, station, nor situation, stop you from fulfilling your destiny. Quite indubitably and unquestionably, your destiny is in your own hands, through your habits, your character, and God's marvelous and spectacular master plan.
There are many in these times who seem to get by with a lot of talk, mixed with deception, mixed with lies, who seem (at first) like good, genuine, honest, and worthy people - who ultimately - prove that they are NOT. Perhaps it is because they were not raised properly. Or maybe it is because they do not have any idea what it means to have Integrity. Some, perhaps many of you may think you know what that is... And, I hope that most of you do. But for those who are unsure, or simply do not know...
Matthew 16:26 warns us, that there is nothing worth the exchange of our soul for any gain what so ever. Often, we all face the delima of choosing that which is RIGHT over that which is QUESTIONABLE and perhaps even WRONG. Depending on how dire the circumstances are, that choice we are faced with may seem impossible - and - out of FEAR, it is all too easy to choose that which seems easier, that which seems safer, that which may be morally wrong, ethically incorrect, or absolutely wrong.
It is in such moments of dire decision, that we must lean into GOD, and TRUST Him with everything we are, knowing that choosing the RIGHT thing, is what GOD wants us to do - and moreover - What He trusts us to do.
This author has faced such situations. There were a few times that I indeed ( from Fear ) chose wrong. What I could not see, is that choosing the wrong thing, ultimately, every time, lead me to a worse fate than what would-have-could-have happened when I chose the right. Moreover, as unworthy and disappointing as I have been in GOD's eyes, He has always protected me from - most especially - ME. No matter how bad things ever got, no matter the weight of the decision I must make, when I chose the right path, keep my integrity, and do (or not do wrong) the right thing - GOD has ensured that the final outcome has been not just good - but outstanding.
So... Do remember that - your Integrity is in your own hands. Nobody can steal your honor. Noboday can take it from you. Only you can give it away. What does that mean? Your Actions and Deeds are far more important than your words. Your words matter, but the follow through is the most important of all. Choose to do the right thing. Choose to be a person of Integrity and always you will be glad that you did.

In the fight between Good and Evil, we all must make decisions for a great many things. At times, the choice for Good or Evil may not be easy to see. But, in those times most especially, Lean into GOD and try to follow His lead. When it is clear (however) which is the Good and Evil choice before us, for our lives to turn out right, we simply need to 'feed the light shark.' I know it may seem absurd to folks, to boil things down to such a simplistic point of view, but; in my own experience it is absolutely true.
So, be a person who is on the side of RIGHT. On the side of the light. Feed the good. Be a part of that which we want - for Good to win the fight! Encourage others with who you are, how you live, what you profess, and all that you do. If enough of us follow this, encouraging others to do the same, the tides will follow, and in the end result, the Light Shark, the GOOD, will prevail in the end!

Among other things, Dr. Schroeder reconciles the six-day creation as described in Genesis with the scientific evidence that the world is billions of years old using the idea that the perceived flow of time for a given event in an expanding universe varies with the observer's perspective of that event. He does so, agreeing with Einstein, that the effect of the stretching of space-time (aka. Inflation), based on Einstein's general theory of relativity, unconditionally impacts the perception of the passage of space-time.
In this, from the perspective of the point of origin of the Big Bang, according to Einstein's equations of the 'stretching factor', time dilates by a factor of roughly 1,000,000,000,000, meaning one trillion days on earth, would appear to pass as one day from that point of origin, due to the inflation's stretching of space-time.
When applied to the (often cited as) accepted estimated age of the universe at 13.8 billion years, from the perspective of the point of origin, the universe today would appear to have just begun its sixth day of existence. Yet, accounting that the Universe beyond the visible, is very likely 15-billion years old, looking backward from the perspective of earth, it would place the age from the point of origin, as just having completed the sixth day. Therefore, as told in the Bible, we are living in "day 7" when Lord GOD entered His rest.
Not surprisingly, SCIENCE; as it approaches and unravels truth, agrees (yet again) with Almighty Lord GOD.

Suffice to say: 50-years ago and earlier, the things that TAGS endorses, encourages, and embraces - were - the WAY OF LIFE in this Great nation. It is up to all of us, WE THE PEOPLE, to ensure that it remains! TAGS is a handful of Texans who believe that FAITH, GOD, COUNTRY and COMMUNITY, are priorities.
